The pharmacy offers Monday – Friday morning and afternoon dosing hours:

  • AM clinic: 5:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • PM clinic: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

The pharmacy is not open on Sundays or federal holidays.

Pharmacy distributions are limited to Narcan and daily doses of methadone or suboxone.

What You Need for On-Site Pharmacy Pick-Up

To pick-up your daily dose of medication, you simply need your 4-digit medical record number, which is assigned during your intake appointment.

What to Expect at the Dosing Clinic

When you come to Duke City Recovery Toolbox pick-up pharmacy, you will check-in with your 4-digit medical record number. Expect to be greeted by a nurse who will administer all medication.

At least once each month, you will be asked to provide a urine sample(s) to verify that you are using only the prescribed medications as indicated. If at any time our staff suspects that alcohol is being consumed, we will perform a breathalyzer before administering medication since the combination of alcohol and methadone can lead to a fatal overdose.

As you progress in treatment and have a number of successive clean drug tests, you may earn the privilege of taking home doses rather than coming to the pharmacy each day. At-home doses may range from weekend doses to monthly doses.

Paying for Pick-Up Pharmacy Services

The cost of medications is included in the cost of your treatment program. If you are covered by Medicaid, then no additional payment is needed. If you are a self-pay participant, there are a number of payment plans to help make the cost of treatment and medication easier to manage.

If you have questions about our pick-up pharmacy hours or procedures, please contact Duke City Recovery Toolbox.
